How do we choose which product to buy? Out of the myriad of products supplied and available for us to pick from, what is the first thing we notice that essentially decides for us?
Of course, the answer is simple. The first thing that catches our eye when we pick products for daily use is the design of the product and the impression it imprints on us.
These are just some of the reasons why the design, and therefore design philosophy, is one of the most, if not the most, crucial features any product could offer.
In this article, we will focus on the design philosophy of our own product, the PomaBrush. But first, we will tell you a little about how we turned our dream product into reality.
PomaBrush is an independent brand that has only one mission: to beautify everyday essentials.
PomaBrush was launched as a campaign on Kickstarter and Indiegogo in 2020.
Our campaign was and continues to be backed by a large community of dedicated fans who saw the potential of our product, the PomaBrush. Our campaign raised one million dollars and turned our dream into reality.
As any dedicated and passionate brand should, we at PomaBrush spent our capital on making the best product that would and did exceed the expectations of everyone that has bought our product.
We designed the PomaBrush with the intention of it being simple, having a premium look that speaks to the high quality of the product, manly, and functional, all with one goal in mind: to be the best in our class.
THE DESIGN PHILOSOPHY OF POMABRUSH
The essential thing that we aim to achieve is simplifying personal care. Moreover, the focus of our brand is on the core experience.
We at PomaBrush do not believe in making products with numerous functions that can take away from the core intention of the product. PomaBrush as a brand is focused on creating goods that are the best in the world at what they are designed for.
For instance, the PomaBrush does not have unnecessary features that do not add value to the core experience for which it is created.
There is no need for a mobile app, ten different buttons that have nothing to do with brushing your teeth, and a large motor.
The PomaBrush only features what is necessary for an ideal brushing experience, nothing else.
